Professional experience

Since 2006, Stefan has developed broad experience in home and auto insurance sales, underwriting, research, and product development. Before joining Square One, Stefan worked as a personal risk and insurance advisor with leading national brokerage firms (which included Jones Brown Inc. and Rogers Insurance), representing and advocating for diverse customers across Canada and the United States, and as a technology services consultant for a leading Australian insurer, CGU.

At Square One, Stefan is responsible for product research and development, corporate underwriting and process improvement, and market expansion initiatives. Stefan also serves as a Chartered Insurance Professional program instructor and Education Committee member for the Insurance Institute of Canada, and has served as a general insurance instructor at Langara College.

Educational background

Stefan holds the Chartered Insurance Professional and Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional designations, and a general insurance license level 2 in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
